For people fond of the word : Unique

It’s true that every person’s thinking differs from the rest. In that way some people like to think unique, especially when it comes to owning a company and branding it with a name. People come up different names and finally end up with one, which they think is most relevant to the company’s products. Some are impressive like ADIDAS (All Day I Dream About Sports). I sometimes have a wired idea, how would it be if your company’s name is contradicting to your product. Like

Examples:

An antivirus solution named INFECTED.

A grocery shop named ROTTEN.

A hospital named DISEASE.

A film production company called FLOP. (Oops!)

A transport company called ACCIDENT.

A courier company called EMPTY. (Make sure they get it to destination!)

Airways called TOTAL CRASH. (Think twice before boarding)

A speaker company called MUTE. (Lets listen to music!)

A mobile service provider called NO SIGNAL.

These names grab attention and are proving to be an easy way to make your brand popular in the market. But you must make sure that your product’s quality isn’t a synonym to your brand name. You might lose your customers quicker than the rest, having common names. Don’t forget being unique applies for everything and especially for your quality. Not only these but funky brand names (E.g.: Knoti, Muzic) that bypass the normal English words have also gained an upper hand in achieving popularity. Though these might not attract everyone in the population it has a strong effect on people 20-40 age span. We very well know they make up to more than 60% of the consumers. Anyways its your product ; have it in the way you want, and make it popular.
